This is a linear park along one shore of the river, and includes the area where a fort was first built (directly across the river from the Titans stadium). There are several signs explaining the early days of Nashville and a re-created portion of that...More

It's great to have a place you can stroll outside downtown enjoy free and/or inexpensive outdoor concerts,,, and Fort Nashboro does give you a glimpse of the real founding of Nashville. That said, every time I've gone to the park for one of these events,...More

This place was blast when I visited a few summers ago! There was a band playing, a ton of people having fun and it was just a really great time over all!

This is a lovely, wide-open space on the edge of 1st Avenue, looking across the Cumberland River to the stadium. It is clean and has plenty of room to walk on the riverside.

Nashville made the right choice in keeping some waterfront as public space and making a park here. They were setting up for a concert while we were there - even better. Easily accessible from the downtown streets and shops but a much calmer place.

It's a great walk along the river, with views of the Cumberland, the bridges, and East Nashville. There is also the original settlement of General Nash to get a bit of history in with your walk.

Walking near the river is refreshing. From this low ground you get a perspective of Nashville from below while also looking up towards some historical structures.
