I honestly expected the place to be crawling with people, tons of live music, and food but it was emptyish. I went over MLK weekend so I expected a lot of people hanging around downtown Nashville. I go to take a lot of good pictures, mainly on the Shelby bridge right next to the park. Maybe the summer is a... More

The Riverfront park is a cool place to hang out in summer, but in winter there is not a lot going on, unless there is a major event in town. It is a nice park by the river and when there is music it is good.

This is a great place for a walk to look at the Cumberland and to sit and relax if you've been shopping along Broadway. Nothing to really do here, but a great place to just chill for a bit.

When you're done seeing downtown Nashville, head toward the Cumberland River an the riverfront park. Guaranteed to be something happening, even if it's just an ad hoc jamming session.

If you're looking for a brief respite from the hustle of Broadway, walk a few steps over to this park. You've got beautiful views, some nice walking paths, park benches and a set of swinging benches. It was cool out, so there weren't a lot of folks out and about, but we enjoyed a nice bit of quiet while we... More

My daughter lives in Nashville, as she is going to school there, so I enjoyed a fun trip on a fairly warm February weekend. We walked around and visited the park and most of downtown Nashville that day.

It's a beautiful start...you can see live music in the amphitheatre and can enjoy the view to the river but there is not really much there.

Nice walk, or sit down to rest, but nothing special. But good for a break between whatever you are doing.

This is right on the river, and is right downtown. (Great combo) the view is great and it's a great place to eat takeout or relax.
