Scaled replica of the Parthenon dominates the park and grounds. It is illuminated at night and is spectacular.

We were there on the off day sadly, but was still beautiful to walk around and kids enjoyed it. For those with kids playing pokemon go - its a gym.

The most beautiful park in Nashville! Spacious and lush with flowers in spring and summer. Visit the parthenon or one of many music festivals!

There was a lot of acreage but nothing much to do in that park... some little pond and a statue or two. A couple swings. I tried to go barefoot because my shoes were blistering my feet (my bad) and the grass was littered so badly with debris that I stepped on something unknown. My foot went numb and was... More

Take time to go inside the Pantheon to see the displays and, especially, the large statue of Athena.

I've been to Centennial Park a few different times. There is the Greek Parthenon here, along with several playgrounds and picnic areas, plus a huge grassy area for relaxing or playing.

It is about three kilometres west of downtown Nashville and is quite an impressive park , its centre piece the Parthenon built in the 1920's. The site was originally farm land then a race track and became the site for the Tennessee Centennial & International Exposition of 1897. One interesting aspect of the park is that until the 1960's black... More

This visit, our second this year, to Centennial Park reminded us of why this park is such an asset for the West End of Nashville. Though less than 135 acres, it is well-landscaped and has a series of curving paved walkways bordering an artificial lake and threading through stands of full-grown shade trees. The iconic Parthenon replica and bandshell, as... More
