Spend the whole day here with the family. Great place to get out and enjoy the best parts of Nashville's beautiful scenery and good food close by on West End. The homeless can be an issue so use caution.

Stopped during the day to visit the Parthenon Replica, had a nice little museum inside that was nice to walk around and see. Parking in the park was a little crazy as it was so packed, but that was due to different events taking place that day. Get out the camera and snap some pics of the great Parthenon.

We found a nice article that outlines some highlights things to see if we have a full day in Nashville. Centennial Park is the first stop after breakfast. Located across from Vanderbilt University (drive thru campus for some nice sights). This park was the sight of an exposition in the 1800's. the main feature is a to-scale replica of the... More

We came here during a weekend in October when there was also a large outdoor market happening where you could buy local goods. Parking is a bit difficult with limited places not on the park itself.

The park is excellent to everybody. You can feel peace and relax into the area, the parthenon is (no worlds) very nice experience, the customer service is outstanding and you can enjoy with family and friends...

The Parthenon is reproduction of the original in Athens, how ever it is as it originally was. Interior also hold museum about the Parthenon and its construction. A good family adventure.

First, you have the Parthenon replica there, so that's a must see. There is a small pond to walk around and a good paved walking path. Plenty of open space to throw a Frisbee or set up a picnic. In the warmer months, there are lots of events that go on there. If it's not under construction, the park is... More

We had some free time in Nashville and elected to simply enjoy the park. With a wonderfully warm sunny day, the Parthenon was beautiful. It was wonderful to feel small next to the large columns. My daughters enjoyed snapping pictures with the columns. What a great place to people watch and picnic.

My husband and I swung through the park and stumbled upon the Music City Winterfest. Rows and rows of tents with vendors selling food and goods, great selection of items. There was a big stage for music performances and even a few bars to grab a drink outside. It was the best way to spend our Saturday, I highly suggest... More
