Great live music, great bar, but horrific bartender. Unattentive (except to his buddy), can't remember your drinks, he's distracted and worst salesman ever. At 7:03 I ask to order food and he says they stopped at 7:00 (never offered food alright) but hen come back and says Jacks has food two doors down. But they close at 8:00. Sad that... More

This was the first time we stopped into Layla's. It is a fun place to hear music in downtown Nashville. The music was great while we were there! As in most of the bars in the area, the bands work extra hard and so do the bartenders!

A fun little 2 story bar with great music and stiff drinks. Loved the blue grassy band that was playing when we were there over Halloween weekend. Gotta love a tiny girl with a stand up bass. I will go back the next time we are in town for sure!

We were walking down Broadway at lunchtime on a Tuesday. We decided to look for a place which offers burgers, and were told Layla's served them. Husband and I both ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Fries were good, but the meat used for the burgers wasn't good. The young man who was singing while we were eating was disappointing due... More

The bad: No Moscow Mules The good: this little venue had the best music I heard all night. The place was not packed and we were able to get a seat right away. The band playing was a group of sisters called the Risches and they were AWESOME! They did more than just country and more than just covers; with... More

Great bar. Small but still space to dance if you feel the need which we did. Amanda Taylor was playing the night we were in and she was fab. Def my fav bar on Broadway.

We were on a "pub crawl" with Christy of Hick Chick Tours. This was my personal favorite stop. Good music and cheap drinks. Someone else pointed out that it was crowded. Everywhere we stopped was crowded especially when our twenty-five + arrived. All of these joints brought to mind lyrics from an old old song " bright lights, thick smoke... More
