Downtown Nashville has it all: bars, live music everywhere, gift shops, plus more. Knowing it was a big bar town, I thought it was going to be not super clean but I was very wrong. They take very good care of the downtown area. If you want to go out before the crowd I'd say go early, the bars close... More

it was nice to walk around and listen to all the music! the restaurants looked and smelled interesting. the only complaint or concern we had was the long uphill walk back to our car but have since found out that there is a free bus service, hop on and off, in the area.

Easy streets with modern city and down home feel at the same time. Every where you look you see history. Then you turn your head and walk into an art gallery with blues greats then next to it gallery with modern creations.

Why not Nashville! I am here because everyone I know who's been to Nashville raves about it. So, why not! If you're looking for a place bustling with live music, great food, and pure energy, Downtown Nashville is for you! Great place to walk around, all day, all night. A LITTLE GEM OF A CITY! That's Nashville.

Every bar, every eating establishment has live music all day and night long - its like a street of dueling singers...... Not for kids for sure but for adults would be great fun. It is super busy on weekend nights.

You have to go to Broadway/5th street for a fun night out. There are some fun places for drinks and live music. The Tin Roof and Tootsies are a lot of fun!

We had a blast hanging out with a bunch of friends on the strip. Had dinner and drinks, and listened to a lot of live music. Out of all of the bars that we went to, we never heard a bad band. The music was great, and had fun watching friends riding the mechanical bull at the Tequila Cowboy.

This city is beautiful, there is so many history around and historical places and advanced to that, is the country music cradle. At Main Street you can have fun all night long. It's definitely a place to go single with your friends. And, in case you be Brasilian like me, go to the Brasilian Steakhouse Texas de Brasil and give... More

Wife and I visited for the weekend having never been to Nashville. Downtown Nashville has tons of great bars that have great live acts. The challenge can be finding a place to eat with less than a two hour wait. The weekend we were there Bob Jovi was playing Bridgestone arena so that might have increased the crowd, but we... More
