This beautiful park very near the city core is a must do place for hikes, casual walks, dog walks, equestrian activities and more. I try to get there every weekend.

Just 20 minutes or so outside of Nashville, you can sink into the woods and get away from it all. I hiked the 5 mile Mossy Ridge Loop. Not a particularly challenging hike, but very pleasant. The woods are thick, there are a few short hills to climb and lots of benches to take a load off if you need... More

Our two best parks are open to everyone, both residents and travelers. And they show the best of our flora and fauna as well as have horse chases, golf, kids playing ball, model airplane fields, dog parks, creeks, and picnics -- as well as wonderful trails to just walk and look at wildflowers or birds. You won't be sorry. Just... More

Having lived in Nashville for five years this is one of my favorite places. Great for running, walking, cycling. Love the eleven mile loop. I came back for a visit and didn't have time to rent a bike but took our new pup on a beautiful walk. It can get crowded but if you go at the right times it's... More

Great selection of trails, Bike, hike, walk the dog or horse ride in this very well maintained park so close to Nashville. It feel like you are miles away from the city. This park has everything you can wish for in a nature park. Shelters, fireplaces, picknik areas, benches, etc... Great afternoon hike every seasons. Love the place

After driving for long hours my wife and I wanted to do some walking to stretch our legs and ended up at the park... The Tranquility of nature was fantastic... Despite having a major highway not far away you couldn't hear the cars... The trails were nicely marked and everyone was very friendly walking... Just very peaceful just what we... More

We took a lovely hike-- about 6 miles long. Paths are well marked and the path is pretty easily traversed. We did the red loop-- Mossy Ridge Trail. Nothing too steep. We saw a number of joggers and other hikers, but it did not feel crowded at all.

We golfed at the 9 hole public course at Percy Warner. It was a nice little course with reasonable rates. Would definitely do again.
