We visited the symphony to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and had a great time! This was our first experience here, the staff were friendly and helped us find our seats as soon as we entered the building. We sat in the box seats and had a perfect view of the movie.

The Nashville symphony has something for everyone. My teenagers and I have enjoyed the Harry Potter film series as well as the Pokémon and other video game themed concerts. What an excellent way to introduce young people to the symphony! The facility is top notch with comfortable seating and ample restroom capacity. You can bring drinks (water, sodas, juice, alcohol)... Came to see Yo Yo Ma for one night show. Beautiful auditorium and the kiddy is stunning. The acoustics were breathtaking and I was so grateful for the experience. The lobby offers several small bars throughout and seating nooks for relaxing before and after the show (or intermission) I stayed in a hotel downtown and was able to walk here.... More

Visited the Schermerhorn to see Matthew Morrison sing with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Not only was the concert hall absolutely beautiful, with fabulous acoustics, the orchestra was truly amazing. If you need a quick break from the country music scene, go to a concert there and hear this beautiful group of extremely talented musicians.

I'm a Nashville Native so I'm a regular here. My favorite event is the movie themed nights where the symphony plays the movie score along with the film. I love watching classic movies with an audience and live band. It's so fun! ***Buy your movie tickets early and choose seats farther back (like in a movie theater!) Also, I've seen... More

Attended a daytime concert geared towards families and had a great time. The interior of the building is updated and very elegant looking, yet very accommodating to families. The staff on hand are very friendly and attentive. They truly want to make sure you have a pleasant experience as do the musicians of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Parking is available... More
