While the AMSE has been going downhill, the Children's Museum has been thriving. This place shows what a community can do if they put the time and money into it. The exhibits are interesting and educational. It is really worth a visit.

This was our first time visiting this museum. I don't know why we had never been there before. There is so much to see and do. My 10 yr old son had a great time!

The museum is terrific. The admission price is reasonable. It tells the history of Oak Ridge and the surrounding area. Additionally, they offer special programs and activities for children. Many of the exhibits are interactive in nature.

Yes, you can do birthday parties. I believe current price is $150 for room use for 2 hours that includes museum admission for 15 children and accompanying adults.
