The 2010 Applause Award winner, Dollywood is recognized as one of the world’s best theme parks. Spanning 150 acres and located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood offers more than 40 rides and attractions, including the Thunderhead wooden coaster, the steel thriller Mystery Mine and Wild Eagle, the first wing coaster in the U.S. Dollywood’s entertainment is recognized worldwide, having received more trophies, 20, than any other theme park for its live entertainment which showcases country, bluegrass, Southern gospel, classic rock ‘n’ roll and Appalachian music. Daily demonstrations by more than a dozen master craftsmen offer a glimpse into the authentic artistry of the area’s rich heritage. This park has something for everyone: a good mix of rides and shows. Plus, compared to other amusement parks, the prices, especially for food, is reasonable. Love the New Lightning Rod, hate that they have had to have so much down-time with it. For those who love the big rides...go during the day during Winterfest to have virtually no wait... More

Much of things closed, rides for kids CLOSED, advertise big on amusement rides, many broken or simply closed .. big disappointment for the $$ this amusement park takes in (Include your 12 dollar parking fee ! Shame on this park for letting it go down as they have done over last few years.. They catering to the water/roller coaster rides... More

For the price, this place leaves very much to be desired. A lot of walking, not much to do. Plenty of shopping however.

There is something for everyone here. I go several times a year. The food is excellent for an amusement park and the music shows are so much fun.

We love the blue grass, and southern gospel music, and all of the excellent shows. All the shows and music groups are totally professional. The grounds are clean and the employees are so friendly. Entertaining and relaxing atmosphere.

We haven't had season passes in 3 years and my husband decided we should get this for the 16-17 season. We got them early so we could visit during the Christmas Celebration. We got to visit 3 times and loved every time. Yes, it's crowded but still manageable. The lights are absolutely beautiful! We bought the big bucket for the... More

Dollywood has some things that are nice for senior citizens but its really for the young and teens and 20's. I liked the 50's diner and the quilts.

My family and I were exhausted by the time we left here, but not from having fun. I expect to walk a lot in theme parks, but there was way too much space from the entrance of the park to the back, where all of the rides were located. The layout of this park could use some work. Since we... More

We loaded up the family and headed to Dollywood for some Christmas season enjoyment. We felt very good about supporting the park, especially with all that Dolly Parton was doing for the area fire victims. We enjoyed all of the beautiful Christmas decor and lights. We attended some fabulous shows and enjoyed several of the rides. We finished up our... More
