Come Ride the Hill and Feel the Thrill! The Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster is the longest downhill ride in the United States, with over 1 mile of track. So if you are looking for an unforgettable experience on your vacation here in the Great Smoky Mountains, this is a must do! The vehicles are designed to carry two visitors in comfort but can be handled easily by one alone. The riders are in control of the velocity (up to 27 mph) and this gives them a unique hands-on experience! Rain, snow or sunshine, no problem - the excellent braking effect is unchanged so you can ride year-round! Tickets and packages are now available, age restrictions may apply, parents may need to ride with small children. Our track has thousands of colored LED lights so you can experience our awesome Night Rides! The great "Über Ride" is HERE!

This ride was the best I had in a week at Pigeon Forge. It takes five minutes to be towed to the top of the ride and 2 ½ awesome minutes coming down. As a tip ride in the morning and then again at night....More

The coaster takes you on a fun ride around the mountain. You may want to keep a close watch on your spot in line if you want to take it fast because some riders are quite slower than others.

We really enjoyed the coaster! My six year old is usually scared of anything tall or fast but loved it some much he went twice.

We’ve tried all of the alpine coasters in the area and this one is the best! May cost a few dollars more or have a longer line but it’s worth it! Try to find a Groupon. Also you can ride again he same day for...More

We had fun riding this coaster (2 adults). You board a single-rider cart that takes you up to the top of a large hill (not really into the mountains). The ride up takes about 5 minutes and is relaxing and has some beautiful scenery. Once...More

The roller coaster in general was fun but there are others next to this one that are better and more affordable the second time you buy a ticket. But, overall it was fun!

Rode in a car with my 11 yr old son and what a ride! You can control the speed of your car but is still a fast ride. Not recommended much younger than 10-11. We will ride it each visit.

This was a fun coaster ride. I rode in the same cart as my 13 year old daughter. My husband and 11 year old son rode in their own cart. It was nice that they offered carts for double riders as I would have worried...More

Longer & more scenic than some of the rides in town. Short wait in line. Lots of speed, just felt a little bumpy on the sharp curves. Glad we went & would do it again. We went during the day & would guess it's even...More

Rode twice with the discount to ride a second time. Lots of fun I definitely recommend riding at night much more fun and thrilling. I rode day and night to experience both.

No big hills exempt for the initial lift up. Once at the top it's a winding ride down. There are hand brakes that you operate so you go as fast or slow as you want to. It's worth it to ride if going with a family.
