I have done Gem mining a number of places, and this is the best by far. Great value and what came out of their "bucket" filled a largish bag full of large different colored crystals and other neat stuff. Even better, the lady who ran the place involved herself by explaining what each thing was. Totally awesome experience for my... More

This place is awesome.. could you tell by the title? Lol. This I will always remember. The man who owns the place is very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his stories, and we really enjoyed mining fit the gems. We had so much fun, we bought four buckets. Awesome finds. Rare gems and more. A must go...

My bride and I stopped in on a whim, and we found a hidden jewel. Awesome stones, cool dinosaur artifacts, and to my amazement, I found an amzing megladon tooth, which is promiently displayed now. Well worth a visit!,

Our kids are 8 and 6 and they had such a great time yesterday! They each got their bucket (I believe it was $30 or $35 for both) and the found a lot of great colorfull stones. They have a great selection to look around too. After they cleaned their stones they each picked one and one if the ladies... More

I've grown up a rock lover and this place is great. If your kids enjoy "prospecting" it is the best place anywhere to do so!

Little River Gem Mine was great. $20 for one bucket or $35 for 2. Walter was very knowledgeable and made our visit enjoyable! Would definitely come back!
