This is a fun way to spend a day. The cavern is unique. The glass bottom boat ride is spectacular. Interesting to explore an underground lake right here in Tennessee. There is a neat gift shop to purchase gifts or something to remember your visit.

Our family throughly enjoyed the lost sea adventures. The boat ride was the highlight of the tour. It was so interesting learning about the history of the cave and the lakes discovery. Our girls enjoyed feeding the fish as well. It's a definite must see...More

It took about 30 minutes to walk down to the underground lake and about 15 minutes to walk back up. It’s about a ¾ mile round trip walk. It was fun to hear the history of the lake, the reason that they have fish and...More

One of the largest underground fresh water lakes in the United States. And that is just the added attraction of the caverns, they have enhanced the walkways and lighting so it is easy access for just about anyone to see.

Came here while visiting family in Tennessee. Very cool. The cave tour is mostly pretty easy walking with the exception of one steep hill leading back up and out of the lake area. Oh, and sometimes it's really slippery. If you are tall, you will...More

Our teenaged Girl Scouts had an absolute blast, and everyone we dealt with was very nice — but — if you're planning to take a group on the "overnight adventure," be aware of a few things. It will be fun and different for them to...More

It really depends on when you are coming and if there will be a wait to get in. Sometimes in the summer and on busy weekends it could take up to an hour or so to get in. The tour takes about an hour and twenty minutes. If... More
