Wow! I've visited several caverns before, but this was by far the best one yet! It's truly a magical place where you will be amazed at the history, stalagmite & stalagmite formations, underground river & waterfall, and knowledge of the tour guides. Our 13 year...More

Honestly, we were concerned that this might just be a mom & pop operation with a cave in the back yard. Boy, were we wrong! This is a top notch attraction. Some of the most beautiful caverns we've ever been too, and there's more to...More

We went during spring break and the signs showed that they were not open yet for the season. We called and they said that since they had received so many calls they decided to open. I thought that was very cool. The people were nice...More

The caverns were neat, but the most of them do not have active growth. The waterfall was beautiful. It's worth the price to see it.

I get claustrophobic in caves. I went to the cavern reluctantly but ended up loving it. This cavern is so beautiful and very roomy inside. I clocked a mile of walking. Our tour guide, Sarah, was very knowledgeable and made our son feel special by...More

Had a wonderful time at the caves. There was a waterfall at the end of the tour and it really was a spectacular tour seeing all the formations the stalagmites and stalagtites can make.It was a pretty huge cave.

It has been a few years, but was impressed by the mix of 'wildness' and accommodations. Some caverns impress but are almost too developed and some are wild and barely passable. Tuckaleechee was tilted toward developed, but retained a lot of its pristine nature. A...More

It was a little expensive but was truly amazing. The story of the 2 little boys that discovered the caverns was blind blowing. I was in AWW over this place and the whole family felt the same.

Very remote area. Eat before you go, hard to find decent eateries in the area. Also, call before you go and obtain hours of operation details.

It really depends on the size of the group and the mobility of the people in the group. 1 hour with small group, no stragglers or up to 2 hours with large group/stragglers. Lots of places to stop and rest and looking at... More

You drive right up to the entrance and gift shop. Once inside the cave, the walk is rather strenuous and make sure you wear proper shoes.
