We had a groupon for our visit, but I would have gladly paid full price. They have lots of interesting collections. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. I wish I had more time to look around. This is not a big museum, but it was an affordable way to spend a pleasant afternoon.

This Little museum is jam-packed with stuff! You can spend an hour in the three rooms and still not have seen everything. So much to look at you have to go back again. A very wide range of content, but all related to living on the frontier. I will be back. Not recommended for little ones - too much to... More

The items are not limited to local history, but include souvenirs from the Holy Land, and shells from "the South Seas." The items are loosely organized, so if you are looking for a chronology of... The artifacts in this "cowboy capital" museum are outstanding. We enjoyed the tour, and we appreciated all the insights provided by the gals on staff on the day of our recent March visit.

Love to stop by and wander through Bandera's history. Wish it were a little larger . . . any chance for an expansion any time soon?

This museum is different from most small town museums. The origin is from a collector of art & artifacts from around the world. Add info on rodeo champs, including their saddles & a collection of 400 bells (donated). The gal who was staffing the desk was very informative about the community of Bandera, TX. She was very willing to answer... More
