Good local movie theatre

I am not a concession gal. I go with enough time to get my ticket, find a seat and a few minutes later the previews begin. Nice theater, comfy seats. Good bathrooms (you... read more

The whole place is clean, including the bathrooms. We always get popcorn and a soda and sit watching the previews. We enjoy the whole experience.

We left before our feature was finished because the rowdy behavior by many of the crowd was becoming frightening. The whole place smelled unclean. Many repairs were needed everywhere. It is obvious that the management has not maintained this as a safe establishment. As a result it has become a haven for gang and drug activity. While we watched several... More

Fun place! Not only is it a theater but it also has bowling, an arcade, and a pool "hall". We saw a couple of movies there and played in the arcade. Matinee pricing is very reasonable and the concession stand cost less than we usually see at home (and they had pickles). Next time I am in Bastrop, I am... More

It's a neat place. We were in Bastrop visiting family and decided to go check it out. We bowled a game and walked through the arcade area. The only thing I had to eat there was the popcorn, but as popcorn goes...it was fantastic! I didn't enjoy the young crowd that thinks they need to use a curse word every... More

I am not a concession gal. I go with enough time to get my ticket, find a seat and a few minutes later the previews begin. Nice theater, comfy seats. Good bathrooms (you know what I mean ladies). Variety of times offered including many matinee prices. For a movie you need to see on the big screen, this is much... More

Thought we'd take in a movie today and since this the only theater within 30 miles of us we came here. Tickets were pretty reasonable and we headed for the concession stand. Four long lines moved pretty quickly. Asked for The Tub of popcorn and an ice water (avoiding high fructose corn syrup in soda)...$12+ !!! "Excuse me, but I... More

We went on Columbus Day with 3 adults and 5 children. We were able to get one lane (as we had the maximum number of people, 8) for an hour. This was the best way to work it out money wise. Only shame was the lane time started before we had our shoes on or got our balls so the... More

Schulman's Lost Pines 8 is MUCH more than a multi-screen theatre. It's the all-around place to go in Bastrop, with bowling, new & larger arcade, food and drink, sports bar, and pool room, each having its own area, in addition to well-maintained and clean cinema auditoriums. Recently remodeled and upgraded. Very family-safe, with local law enforcement providing security at night.... More
