Great place for kids!

After a very short while, you start to feel you are being taken advantage of. Admission is $14, soft drinks are $3, wagon rental is $5 per hr. Animal feed is $1 for a small cup and the animals don't even eat it.

Went for the first time this past Sunday. It was a bit crowded, but parking is very organized and went smoothly. I bought tickets online to save $1 each and just had to show them on our phone to get wristbands. They have an AC room for baby changing purposes, which is very nice! Lots of huge trees, shaded tables... More

Like most family events it is a ton of fun for young children. My LO is only 13 months so not too much to do for that age, but we still had a great time. It was SOOOOOO hot and we went October 16th. If I had to do it again, I would go on a much cooler day or... More

We went on crazy busy Sunday for the Fall Festival. Tip - buy your tickets online, you save $1 each ticket and avoid the first queue! You can take water in but that's all. I suggest you take waters and a ice pack as you'll need them. Our family didn't take water and they stood in the line for 45... More

I visited the fall festival at Barton Hill Farms today with a group of friends (with small kids). When we got there I noticed there were a lot of people there so I figured it must be a popular local attraction. It cost $14 admission for adults and kids 2 and under were admitted for free; I do not recall... More

We spend a lazy Sunday afternoon here and we were surprised at how much there was today. We were there for around 3 hours with 2 little kids and they were begging to stay longer! Lots of things to do for kids of all ages though...very impressed with what they've done and we will be back.

What a great day! First trip to Barton Hill Farm Fall Festival and Corn mazes. Spent the day exploring, painting pumpkins, enjoying live music and good food. The farm was well kept and laid out to accommodate everyone's needs. There were no lines on the day we visited and lots of fun activities. Big Lonesome Dove corn maze with questions... More

This maze is perfect later on in the season closer to Halloween. There are tons of things to do and always great music. The food there is okay, but there's a good beer and wine selection.

A maze of maize! haha, little joke http://bartonhillfarms.com/corn-maze/ Every fall there's the Fall Festival and Corn Maze, thru November. Very good event for families because there are tons of areas for the kids to play, including a fort, a pumpkin patch, a "cow" themed tractor-pulled train, a "ship" sandbox, swings, petting zoo with goats, etc etc etc. That and tons... I came here with my sweetheart last weekend. We had a great time walking the maze & then listening to some funky live music while sitting under the trees. Cold beer from the Bastrop Brew House (I think) and fresh kettle corn was a nice treat, as was watching all the kids running around the massive sandbox & folks kayaking... More
