We go this way often to eat at the Monument Inn Restaurant. You just can’t beat it, The San Jacinto Monument and Battle ground park, the Battleship of Texas. There’s a bunch of things to do and get your Texas on. So hop to it.

I love this ferry ride. It's sort of old and nostalgic, but getting to the other side is certainly worth it. Ther's a great restaurant with delicious seafood; battleship and monument, and awesome park areas. It's a great place to get away and reminence.

Always fun to go on the ferry even if it is just over a back. Kids enjoy the barge traffic and the ships coming and going.

wasn't that impressed with the place, a lot of people there, and it took a time to be seated, wait staff was not very attentive, before, during and after dinner. Between the poor service and unimpressive food, not worth the wait,.

This is a very historic ferry. It dates back to before the Battle of San Jacinto. If you want to ride it to or from Monument Inn, for nostalgia sake, by all means. But, if you don't want to wait in a long line(s), take...More

This is not the fast way to anywhere, but worth the wait. The ferry is free. It can back up at peak hours. Operated by the State of TX.
