My family and I went here to see what it was like. We had a great tour guide! We saw some cave salamanders and a bat. Lots of interesting formations to see and my kids enjoyed it. I thought the tickets were a little expensive,...More

Patty's first day as guide. The caverns have some lighting and flashlights are provided. Pace was great-lots of stairs though and places inside where you need to crouch. Lots of interesting things to see inside.

This place was very rustic. We liked using the flash lights in the cave. Defiantly wear tennis shoes it is very wet in the cave. The guide was funny. It was a great place to spend and hour. Definitely go.

There at a few problems with this review: 1) Hours have been posted on our Gift Shop door forever; 2) Who posts a review 8 months after visiting? 3) Our last tour of the day is at 4 PM but the Gift Shop closes at...More

Cascade is a great starter cave. No tight spaces, just one area where you have to walk bent over for 20 feet. Our guide, Cy, was great. Great formations and super cute tiny bats!

This cave is not overly commercialized. It has been in operation as a tourist site since around 1930, and much of that simplicity remains. We saw tiny bats hanging upside down. Our guide was good and our two 8 year olds were fascinated. There are...More

My son and I did the adventure tour yesterday and it was so cool. We got to explore the lower level of the cavern system which doesn't have electricity. We all had on helmets and head lights that were supplied. We accessed the lower caverns...More

120 steps from the Old Gift Shop to the cave door. All seven of the Texas show caves have stairs, declines and inclines (Wonder Cave is the only one with an elevator). However, our cave has the shortest overall walking... More

Jay- The waterfall in the Cathedral Room hasn't been active for some time due to area housing development impacts and weather changes. However, we do have a smaller "waterfall" in the First Room in the cave that we call... More
