This is worth your time - either 20 or up to 60 minutes or more. The best hike is along Cibolo creek. There's a trail on the bank and one right alongside the creek. I'd recommend going the bank one way and alongside the creek the other way. It's very beautiful and has interesting trees.

The Cibolo Nature center is a fun getaway for families. Kids can explore the trails and boardwalk. My kids have always loved going down to the creek and checking it out for fish and other interesting bits of nature. The trails are also a great place where my friends and I like to run, jog or walk when the weather... More

Nice spot in Boerne to visit. We had a very pleasant hike (although a little warm that day). Its close proximity to Boerne makes it a great place to visit during the day.

Had a group that was looking to get some exercise so thought we would go here for a hike/walk. Very nice place and scenery is great but the longest walk was .4 miles. We went beyond the actual trails but still don't thing we even got a mile in round trip. It is a nice park and great for a... More

They offer several easy hiking trails but we loved the one along Cibolo Creek. They have an educational center if you are interested.

Just a short hike down to creek. Gorgeous scenery, very relaxing even with young children. There's a great place for them to play too. Loved seeing Spanish moss on the ginormous trees.

I remember the early years of the Center, mainly just a few unpaved roads to make your way down to the creek. Those roads are now hiking trails; they're not strenuous and easily doable by most folks. On the other end of the Center, there's another trail. My wife was in a wheelchair but we found we could navigate this... More

I used to come here to relax, it is a very nice place, I never saw it too crowded, and it is a little piece of scenery and a nice little get away.

Have been here solo, with friends and on field trips. Interesting activities volunteers have put together for field trips, but picturesque spots for photos. First came to the area with my grandparents and had a picnic by the cypress trees in the late 60's, before it became a nature center. Visit. You won't regret it.
