Awesome!

What a great tour! Wayne was very interesting and humorous. I was j sure how I would feel underground for an hour and a half but I loved the cavern and the little bats.

What a unique cavern! This is a horizontal cavern carved out by an underground river. The formations are absolutely beautiful. This is a relatively flat cavern with very few stairs or inclines. It has an amazing history to it, as well. The tour guides (esp, Stevan) are super knowledgeable and friendly. We might have a little rushed but it was... More

Loved it! $16 PP so not a cheap date. But tour guide was informative and answered every question I had.

We've been driving down 281 for years and are just now checking this place out. What a surprise! Allie was a great guide - his stories of the caverns were entertaining - even for the kids. You're underground for 1.5 hrs, so be sure you're comfortable with that before you go.

I'm a sucker for Texas history. Especially the more obscure stories and less-famous heroes. After camping at Inks Lake State Park, we took the very short drive to Longhorn Cavern. Fastest hour and a half tour ever - so much beauty and history, the time just flew by. Other reviews will tell you more about what to bring and cost.... More

Our guide was loaded with some very interesting facts about the cave and it's history. We got the sense that most if not all of what he said was true. Our guide, Robert I believe, also added some fun humor from time to time with the occasional cave puns. Don't expect to see alot of formations but the ones that... More

I have been to lots of caves and this is by far the best cave we have visited! The tour guide was very nice and told us a lot of history about the area and the cave system.

Longhorn Cavern is a must to see on your "bucket list" for the Hill Country! It's always educational to visit natural scenic displays that ancient water has carved out for us to view. The tour is interesting and the guides are very knowledgeable. The views are beautiful. There is only one area in the cave that you duck down for... More
