The Texas outdoor musical is something for Texans and anyone to see. I was truly impressed and I think that this show can compete with anything on broadway. This is my second time.

A lot has changed since our last visit 15 years ago. Good show with a large colorful cast. I would have enjoyed sharing pics of the show but it's not allowed. If you go in July bring water with you, it's hot until the sun...More

We really were impressed with talent, energy, enthusiasm and creativity of this presentation. The truly jaded might not enjoy; we were refreshed and rejuvenated.

This has been on my "take my grandson" to bucket list for several years. We finally made the 9 hour trip for a quick weekend to see the show. It's all those things everyone says about it. HOT (weather), corny, cheesy and if you let...More

The show is a fictional story about the settlement of Texas and the West. While it is not the greatest of musicals, I was very happy with the theme of Patriotism which was reflected in the story, especially regarding the current political climate in this...More

No food or drinks allowed inside the "show" area, but you can bring into the Park. You are correct about eating in Canyon (15 minutes) or Amarillo (25 minutes).

All seats have backs and a cushion would be great. They are very narrow so a larger person is squished in the seat.
