For a family of four with young children, it was a quiet spring getaway. It was clean, well maintained with tons of playground equipment and shade! It was a lovely place for a lovely day and I'd recommend it!

Nice lake! Beautiful scenery but to many dam mexican they take over the park, have no regard for the park rules and regulations. And it sad you cant come and enjoy the park!!!!!

I live close to Joe Pool Lake and get to the lake on a limited basis. I have fished, skied, and eaten at Joe Pool and have been somewhat satisfied with each. The Oasis is at the marina and has "okay" food and good drinks. Drinking only allowed inside the Oasis...not anywhere on the lake. I have fished in several... More

This lake is beautifully located in Cedar Hill, just south of Grand Prairie. Great lake, plenty to see and do. There is camping, boat and jet ski rentals. Oasis restaurant & bar which has live music on weekends. Parks and camping too. Pet friendly, and motorcycle friendly. I highly recommend it.

This is a nice lake to take the boat out, or you can rent a pontoon and spend a few hours out on the lake. The fishing is pretty good and it is a good sized lake to cruise around. If you have younger kids, take them to the marina and bring a couple loaves of cheap bread. They will... More

We had a wedding photo shoot there and it was amazing. The lake itself is not very big though. The chore is quite rocky. But it is nice seeing blue water and the atmosphere itself is really lovely.

Nice to be out on the water. Was a little chilly this time of year but enjoyed our day. Liked the marina set up where everyone gathered and socialized.
