Actually I went a very long time ago with a group of Day Care children. I truly enjoyed visiting there & the children were truly intrigued. Haven't been back, my days are busy but I want to take my grandchildren soon.

Enjoyed it, but the burial site nearby has really put this place on the map; in the eyes of the museum, anyway. Repeatedly got this cockamamie story about how the bones unearthed were from people before the Native Americans. Sorry, but there were no people...More

We have been wanting to go here for some time. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the exhibits and thought is was great for a town the size of Clifton to have this little jewel.

This museum offers more information, beauty, history, and collectors' items per square foot than any museum I've visited. Starting with a replica of a world class archeological excavation found nearby, through arrowheads, tools, weapons, textiles, a settler's log cabin, library, and local art and photography,...More

A great museum with lots of local Norwegian and German treasures. Also, so many cool arrowheads and fossils. A must see if you are in Clifton or traveling through.

This is a beautiful museum with volunteers and workers who quite evidently enjoy their job. It just underwent some renovations and it's quite interesting. Many, many items to look at. You will not be disappointed.

Bosque is pronounced "boss-kee" or "Bah-skee" and is a Spanish word meaning woods or wooded. The Bosque River was named by early Spanish explorers and the county was probably named after the river.
