Really enjoyed this place. Food is so-so but you go there for the atmosphere and the farce. It was so much fun throwing popcorn at the actors and booing and hissing at the villain. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back next time we're in Dallas. This is a must do for every traveler.

We recently went to see Ebenezer Scrooge. The cast was fantastic. Even with a familiar story, they were still able to "draw us in", with emotional dialogue and good acting. This made for a really nice memory-making outing for our family. We highly recommend this show!

I planned an evening event following Thanksgiving Day (Black Friday) for my family to avoid the sometimes anticlimax of the actual Thanksgiving Day events. Expectations for these winter holidays are so unrealistically high that a sense of "let down" often follows them no matter how good the actual experience of the holiday is for each individual. I stumbled onto this... More

Up until last night, I had not been to the Pocket Sandwich in a few years, because I was overseas. We used to go all the time, and it was a blast. Death, the Musical 2, which was showing last night was pretty darn good. The food was good for what it was. Great place to take your family, depending... More

Pocket Theater is the crossroad where dive bar meets Saturday Night Live comedy. This is a tiny theater that looks like a bar with a small stage. Five rows of tables, booths and chairs surround the stage in an amphitheater style that probably seats around 100-125 people. There is not one bad seat in the house to see the play,... More

As the name implies, the Pocket Sandwich Theater is a cozy venue with every seat close to the stage. There is no better way to see a band perform or a melodrama. There is food and bar service for enjoying. The friendly waiters are bursting with personality! Most shows are appropriate for all ages. Pictured is The Dr Larry "T-Byrd"... More

We really enjoyed the two shows we saw at this little dinner theater. My daughter went back two more times to see one of the shows again with friends. The food is simple, but tasty enough and reasonably priced. The acting isn't like you are going to a Broadway show, but you don't expect that. It is a fun and... More

This place is so much fun. The shows are pretty silly but that's the fun part. Don't go here expecting a Broadway show or good acting. The best part about the theater is getting to throw popcorn at your neighbors and the actors. We laughed all night and will definitely be going back.

The current play is a little adult oriented, but they really do a good job engaging the crowd, letting you toss popcorn and boo and hiss at the villain. The food, while simple, was good as well. I plan to repeat.
