The adventure at The Dallas World Aquarium begins at the top of the rainforest exhibit, where exotic birds, such as Cocks-of-the-rock and many species of toucans, can be seen. Lounging around are Two-toed and Three-toed sloths. Endangered animals, such as Orinoco crocodiles, Giant river otters, Antillean manatees and several species of monkeys are part of the many conservation projects. The aquarium portion displays interesting marine life, including Japanese crabs, jellyfish, Leafy, Weedy and Ribbon seadragons. Black-footed and Blue penguins can be seen swimming as guests enjoy the outdoor South Africa exhibit. Sharks, rays and sawfish are only a few of the fish living in the Mundo Maya cenote. Safe from Neotropical eagles, are euphonias, tanagers and hummingbirds. Reptiles and amphibians, both of significance to the Maya culture, can be seen throughout the exhibit.

Absolutely my favorite part of my birthday trip. Even with four school busses loaded with elementary children! They've done a great job in creating such natural environments for the animals. Absolutely amazing. I was in awe! Definitely recommend.

We met my Dad here and it was the best! So much to learn while here and surprisingly not as crowded as I thought for a weekend. The gift shop was really nice with a good selection of merchandise and price points. Loved it!

While I appreciate the animals and plants life the aquarium has to offer, there was not much aquatic life. It was way too crowded and the halls were difficult to navigate with a double stroller plus teenagers.

This is a great place to visit if you have a couple hours. Please bring the whole family as everything is out in the open. This place will not disappoint as it has a lot of attractions and its set in a lifelike rain forest. A+ place I assure You.

It's a must to see this if you visit Dallas with friends and family.. a place for all ages.. but kids will enjoy the most. It was a bit crowded when we were there so I would suggest to visit on a regular weekend and not on a holiday weekend like we did. You can surely spend more than 4... More

Our family, including my 1.5 year old, went one afternoon and were all surprised by how much fun it was! The tickets seemed pricey at first, but we all later agreed it was well worth it. The setup of the aquarium is built to where you always have something to look at. The exhibits are nice and they have hundreds... More

We made the mistake of going during school field trip season, but had a good time anyway. There are so many animals to see, and a lot of them aren't in traditional zoo-like habitats, but are roaming around free, or at least seem to be even when they aren't. We had to pay for our 2 year old, which made... More

It's a good place but sometimes difficult to enjoy it when it's too crowded. Space issues trying to get around.

There are so many animals, fish, and exhibits to see. The exhibits are close to the animals natural habitat and well done. Following the path allows you to see the exhibits from multiple angles which awed my daughter. She especially loved seeing how the ducks moved in the water from beneath the pond on the ground floor.
