This was an interesting memorial to JFK. Architecturally designed as an open building with no ceiling it sits inside a memorial park. Great for a visit and so close to our hotel. Less than 10 minutes.

See the exterior of the book depository, the plaza, the route JFKs motorcade drove, the infamous grassy knoll and the location the limousine was at when he was killed.

Didn’t really get it. There was a lot of symbolism according to the info signs, but it didn’t really impress me.

Life changing events took place here and always has people there. However, it is a place of shame for those of us who are natives. If one looks closely one along the curb, one can see where a bullet glanced off the cement. When in El Centro College, just a few blocks from the site, I parked behind the grassy... More

The history of the United States is marked with violent event and this one in particular is among the saddest... you take a deep breath looking at the x on the street and hoping that each and everyone have learned from the past...

This location is filled with historic information regarding the assassination of JFK. I would definitely suggest visiting the museum as well!
