This is a must see thing to do if you are in the area. It is a beautiful place. Best of all, it is free. Go and enjoy!

After visiting the Sixth Floor Museum, walked a couple of blocks to see the JFK memorial. The white concrete cenotaph (open tomb) is stained so badly its embarrassing to see. The structure is supposed to depict "a place of quiet refuge", "separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth." Sorry to say the architect missed the mark.... More

We visited JFK museum. It was affordable and interesting, a bit crowded though. The audio explaining the many panels with pictures of the tragedy of his assassination was a great help. Impressive view from the very window where the marksman stood to shoot. Recommended for older children and adults.

All the stuff we've seen for the last oh so many years! Same pictures, same creepy floors, same conspiracy theories. Not worth the time.

Line for Museum too long, but just being in the plaza made the hair on the back of my neck go up.....pictures do not do it justice. I have seen pictures and studied this event all my life. Very small area, RIP-JFK....must see if your in Dallas

There are several exhibits in this area and most are very interesting. I did find the JFK Memorial somewhat disappointing, very nondescript. Perhaps that was done intentionally but I think a man of his historical significance would have something a little more.

Combine with School Book Depository and get all the info on JFK assassination. Hear all the conspiracy theories also with some eye witness accounts see the grassy knoll and where Zabruder shot his film.

Place where JFK was shot....in between the road, a cross mark states the exact place. Puts you to think of the planning done by the communists while JFK was driving down the lane....shots while he was on his car.

Intriguing museum which cater for all aspects to the JFK's life and presidential legacy. Very interesting too from a personal level sharing the name Kennedy and Married to a Fitzgerald. Was a little disappointed they did show more if his Irish visit or the out pouring of grief when he was shot in Ireland but of course showed the UK... More
