I was being shown around Dallas and after the grassy knoll I was taken here. From the outside it was interesting, but once you go inside and see the empty plinth with his name on it - words cant describe the feeling. Do it.

Kind of average to below average monument to JFK when compared to other ones around the county. It is only a block or so walk from the Texas Book Depository and Dealy Plaza so you might as well see it, but I wouldn't make a...More

Being of an age where I remember the assasination of JFK, this was a sobering location to visit to reflect on the effect the event had on our generation and our world.

We have gone to this place after visiting 6th Floor Museum and Place of assassination of Kennedy. This memorial Plaza is looking like ordinary place not impressive like the name as Kennedy Memorial Plaza.

Has anyone in charge visited here recently? Did it have a water feature at one time? Can we get an explanation of what the designer - chosen personally by Jackie Kennedy - was trying to convey. It is cold, stark and pales in comparison to...More

This memorial plaza area is only a block from Dealy Plaza (a touching and overwhelming place), so you may want to check it out while you're in the area, but don't make a special trip for this. The cold, stone square represents nothing JFK and...More

Yep I went to the JFK Memorial Plaza while waiting for my tour bus to arrive. If you know the area so well then you know the tour company. To my family and myself the JFK Memorial seamed unfinished. And as you stated it is... More

I honestly don't know where the nearest one will be, but considering the size of this city, you'll be able to find one.
