Beautiful campus. It is within walking distance to the Mockingbird Station. We just strolled along taking in the beautiful buildings & landscape.

What was surprising to me was the beauty of this privately-operated University. Whereas a state-funded campus might have to build new buildings with state funds as they are approved, and then use the style of architecture in vogue at the time, the SMU Board of...More

Very good layout. It was smaller than we expected but interactive displays great. The short films very good. A good history lesson.

See Dali exhibit right now, but the entire museum exhibit is worth the visit. One of the docents gave us a thorough understanding of the collection.

This is a beautiful campus with a mix of more modern and classical architecture. It looks like a great place for students to learn. The Bush Library is on the campus and is a good time to see both.

If you have college aged achievers, they should be looking at SMU. It's a beautiful campus with a very diverse population. In the middle of town (Park Cities), so it is near everything. The curriculum is first class, and the lecture series and special guests...More

SMU is my alma mater. And it has expanded beyond recognition in the 25 years since I left the hilltop. After college hopping for several years, a marriage and three children later, I was challenged by my then 1st grade daughter to "get an education"....More

I don't pay anything to visit SMU. But I didn't use a guide for this. I just walked alone there. I parked my car in the George W. Bush Museum parking lot and paid 5 dollars.
