SMU (pronounced SMOO) is a tree-lined collegiate gem in the busy near-heart of Dallas, and soon home of the Bush 43 library. Their football program is back in action and competitive, in a compact but crowd-friendly stadium that includes a grassy end zone where you...More

This is the place that got the NCAA football death penalty in the 1980s but the school has always been a top notch university. Whether in Engineering, Law, Theatre, Theology, or Sciences, SMU is highly thought of. Football has returned and SMU is joining the...More

We took a formal tour, and we were very impressed. We've toured a number of campuses, and SMU is now at the top of our list. The students who did the tours were personable and knowledgeable. The tour included most of the campus, and the...More

I went to school here in the 90's. Tailgating before football games is really fun, and the atmosphere at football games is family friendly. Beautiful campus!

I attended Graduate School here a number of years ago. It is expensive as it is a private university. Wonderful facilities. Easy to get onto the campus, it is not far off North Central Expressway in Dallas, actually in University Park.

If you want to buy one, a building with your (or your company) name on it is available. Library is outdated to the point of embarassment. Pretty campus, and something in the water makes all the sorority girls buy black BMW's. The Pres. Geo. W....More

I went to SMU - it is in arguably the nicest area - University Park and Highland Park - of all of Dallas. I personally like the homes on Swiss Avenue better - but just my opinion. As far as the Park Cities area -...More

Best school in the area, and arguably Texas. The campus is gorgeous and taking a stroll down Bishop Boulevard is always nice and peaceful. There are a lot of restaurants around the area, too, that have been in the area for a long time (like...More

SMU attracts a number of prominent guest speakers, some through sponsored lectures. They ussually have some interesting viewpoints given in talks on campus. Also, the Meadows Museum is worth a visit.

I don't pay anything to visit SMU. But I didn't use a guide for this. I just walked alone there. I parked my car in the George W. Bush Museum parking lot and paid 5 dollars.
