This aquarium is a little smaller than the other aquariums I have visited in Dallas but it is really kid friendly. My favorite part was the stingrays, you get to feed them!

I took my 6 year old and had a blast. There are lots of things to see and touch and, because its in Fair Park, you can walk to the Science place, Museum of Natural History, and lots of other places.

My 6 year old granddaughter loved this place. Accessible exhibits, plenty to see, friendly and informative volunteers. Highlight? Stroking the stingrays. She is a timid child but they amused her for a good 30 minutes. Very good value and probably better for small children than the main city aquarium.

I hadn't been to this aquarium in many years and honestly was hesitant to go. It was my sons 8th birthday however and we have always gone to the Dallas World Aquarium in downtown as our birthday tradition. This year funds were a little tight and I just could afford a day at the larger location so off we went.... More

This aquarium was meant to be seen at stroller level and is very fitting for kids that age. My 1.5 year old loved walking around on a weekday when there were only a handful of other visitors. It didn't scare her as I expected, not even the eel or sharks. There's a bit more light than typical aquariums. She loved... More

Part of a short "adventure" trip for grandchildren. Excellent experience for a minimal price. Only downside is the long walk from (free) parking area. Helpful, friendly staff.wonderful exhibits. Opportunity to see sharks fed....All three grandchildren loved it.

It was perfect for my 1 year old grandson. Most things are in view from a stroller! There was lots of movement in most of the displays so he could spot the various specimens. It is a VERY small exhibit so I wouldn't recommend it for children older than 4 or 5! Many of the displays seemed to be labeled... More

Took our little ones here for a family vacation, and they really enjoyed themselves as did my boyfriend and his brother. The aquarium can be a bit confusing to locate because it is on the State Fair property but easy enough to find, if you follow the signs. Our oldest son enjoyed feeding the sting rays. He was smitten with... More

We went mainly so the kids could feed the stingrays, but this aquarium is the right size for younger kids to explore. Recommended!
