Enjoyed this museum very much, esp the room about The Lost Battalion. People were friendly and helpful. They also have a lot of Confederate Records. I found one of my relatives records there.

We learned a few things here about the Waggoner Mansion aka "El Castile". The history of the oldest Jr. college. The dividing of the Waggoner land. The Wise County Courthouse is beautiful.

This museum is chock-full of history, geared towards the Wise County area but interesting to anyone. The size of the collection is impressive, and the beautiful building itself has an interesting story. Special praise for the room honoring the heroic Texans of the Lost Battalion.
