Anyone visiting Fort Worth should visit the stockyards. It's historic and a great place to hang-out. My 10 year old grandson took me there for an afternoon. Stop and get some ice cream

Still operating as one of the largest centers for buying/ selling cattle but most done by phone and video, no cows present anymore. Beautiful old place, and famous.

Although the building is still used for business, it houses the Stockyards museum. Inside you will find items and history of the Stockyards, rodeos and Ft Worth itself. In addition, it houses the "second" oldest continuing burning light bulb.
