We loved this park. The hikes weren’t too strenuous yet provided some beautiful and unique scenery. We recommend not forgetting your map as we did. And do watch out for the cactus.

The cave is a nice feature at Enchanted Rock. Note this is not a review of Enchanted Rock, but the cave at Enchanted Rock. It allows a nice beginner experience for climbing and bouldering. Be careful! Take a flashlight and be prepared to climb. Little...More

The view at the top is more than worth the climb. Trail not very well marked on the way to the top, just get started and keep going up, you will get there! Wear sturdy shoes, not for the weak at heart.

Great experience. Go at your own pace and definitely try the summit hike up. Well worth it to see God's land.

Great park and hike to the top of ERock is relatively easy; see lot's of people doing it with kids, elderly, etc. Only problem is on really nice days in the spring (cooler weather) there can be a long line. Suggest a weekeday visit, or...More

There are caves at the top. Technically probably a jumble of big rocks all on top of each other with cracks you can pass through in between. I didn't go in but saw people go in at one spot and come out about 10-20 mins later... More

No. Maybe for the first 10 yds. Bring him back when he's 9-12 for a 2 hr. cave journey if you know both legs of the cave. You will need a flashlight, to wear pants and the right shoes, and to be ready to get dirty in general.

If you are standing on top of the rock, start going down the back side and it will be to your right after you start the down hill. There is actually a little sign there too.
