Amazing collection of local history, including personal stories and artifacts on display. All very pertinent to pioneers all over the south west.

This place was educational and well done. It just didn't appeal to me too much. Maybe I wasn't in the mood or maybe I've seen too many pioneer exhibits. I've also done a good deal of study on this topic and I thought I would...More

We did this on a day when it was rainy. It was the perfect venue for the weather. Each building provides a motion activated recording. The gift shop provided umbrellas.

This museum is fantastic. A great introductory video at the start explaining the story of the early settlers and then you go around various buildings, all original from the mid 1800's. The have been painstakingly moved and reformed to be on one sight. The artefacts...More

One of the best historical or pioneer museums. Recommend starting with the video at the beginning... it's short and it tells the story of the first German settlers and how they came to Fredericksburg

It was and excellent presentation of Fredericksburg "past." I wish we had more time to spend here. I will definitely return on our next trip to Fredericksburg. The lady that welcomed us was a cornucopia of information which she gladly shared. We stayed after the...More

I assume the title of your review meant Fredericksburg not Pflugerville. Thank you for your kind review. We often tell our ladies at the front desk how many good reviews they get for being friendly and knowledgeable. We are proud to say they are all...More

I love how excited the info desk person was to share the importance of the unbroken treaty. She really filled in the details beyond the historical movie which starts on the quarter of the every hour.
