This is a great trail for the whole family. It's 4 miles, so plan accordingly, but the views are ever-changing as you make your way around the rocks and park. There are a ton of plants, birds, and wildlife so keep your eye out. There...More

My husband and I always go up Enchanted rock but this time we went around --it was early spring and early in the morning--take water, saw all kinds of wild life.

The loop trail was an easy hike for an out-of-shape couple and a puppy. The scenery was amazing. There's water and bathrooms at the beginning, and later there was a compost toilet. Bring lots of water!

Trail that leads to top of Enchanted Rock passes by creek, flowering plants/bushes, etc. Seemed to be dog friendly. Lovely interlude away from metro areas.

For years, I've heard about the Willow City Loop. It's worth the trip. You really cannot stop along the way as all the land is private. Just keep moving and enjoy the vistas that we call The Hill Country of Texas.

The loop trail has everything. Great scenery, grasses, rocks, and creek crossings. We took our dogs and they had a blast. It was also quiet since everyone usually comes to e-rock for the summit trail. Come early to beat the heat and parking headache.

Enjoyable slow drive to see the more natural side of the Texas Hill Country. We spotted deer near the roadway. Saw many beautiful streams. Magnificent rock hillsides. Be prepared to stop and take in the few, but remember that you are on private property.Don't forget...More

Always a chance in a nature setting like this but most of the loop trail perimeter trail path is gravel and quite wide so you aren’t walking through grass or brush.
