Wildseed Farms is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just seven miles east of Fredericksburg, Texas. Come by and see us seven days a week, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the camera and capture the ultimate in wildflower photographs! Spend as much time as you like at the farm's activities. We have 200 acres of wildflowers in various stages of development here on the farm. Springtime visitors will likely see Texas bluebonnets, red corn poppies, phlox, and a gorgeous array of other spring flowers. Summer visitors will enjoy cosmos, sunflowers, zinnias and other warm weather bloomers. In the fall, the fields are planted for the following year's color, but our Nursery is well stocked with a variety of choices for fall planting and colorful pumpkins adorn the grounds around The Shops at Wildseed Farms which are brimming with delightful gifts for home and garden. And don’t forget to browse our incredible selection of wildflower seeds as well as our seven regional mixes for anywhere in the U.S.

Always stop here while visited the hill country. This visit we bought several Texas native plants to attract hummingbirds. The staff made great recommendations and the plants are all thriving. I always find a few gifts while I am there too.

Nice facility. The fields of wildflowers were not blooming in early September except one row. That row was fun because of the hundreds of butterflies. They do have wild flower seeds for every state and I bought an assortment. If you are a home gardener,...More

Good for a short visit with German beer on tap, very limited food selection. They did have starter plants and tourist gifts and an event hosting ability with wine tours.

Much more than just wild seeds for sale. It is tourist-y, but offers live plants as well as refreshments (cafe) and much more. If you garden, or are interested in landscaping, this is a must stop. There's more... check their web site.

That's a little early for flowers. If we've had rain in the winter, you may see a few. The weather should be in the 60's, but you never know in Texas.
