The perfect day for our 5 year old grandson (probably good for up to 8 years). Lots of hands on attractions all with an educational bias. We arrived at 11.00 and left at 16.45. The only downside is that there is no coffee shop/cafe so take a packed lunch. Lots of seating very friendlý staff. Small gift shop.

This discovery center was an expensive and disappointing outing. The kids thought it was fun, but they also think fast food restaurant play areas are fun! From an adult prospective, though, I felt it was a little run down, and not well cared for. The adults and kids have the same rate, current price is $8 per person. There really... More

My kids always loved this place. We have visited dozens of times over the years and also done many of the summer camps. The exhibits are regularly updated so it always feels fresh and interesting. I only rate it a three because they close on weekdays exactly at the time that school gets out so it's impossible to visit with... More

Nice outing for the family or hosting a birthday party Pros: Rotating exhibits, lots of hands on stuff to do Cons: small space, could be crowded

We took our 6 year old here. Coming from a much larger city I was expecting more. It is a very small science center with few exhibits. While my little one enjoyed it I would not invest in a membership. Not enough there to do to make it worth your while. Hopefully someday they will expand. I would not recommend... More

I have been to Sci-Tech two times with my kids. It is interesting and hands on and some of the traveling exhibits are great but save your money and visit one of the larger Science museums in the area. The Perot, the TI museum in Dallas or the Ft Worth Science museum is far worth the time investment.

I took my grandkids age 6-12 Definitely too old for this particular venue. Not much to it for the cost of entrance.

During our visit my son was extremely impressed and entertained by all of the hands on exhibits. What can make a boy happier than huge building blocks and legos. I would not go during a field trip. While I was there one arrived and it was chaotic. This is a small museum but has quite a bit to do for... More

This place is completely geared toward kids 10 and under, I would say. That being said, I laugh at people who review this place as adults and say "I had a horrible time. So boring." Clearly it's boring and small for you....grow up, you're an adult. Barney bores the hell out of me, but my 2 year old thinks it's... More

We were gifted a membership and have visited Sci-Tech twice, a third time we went to the butterfly exhibit outside, which was small but something new and fun. Our kids are 3 and 9 and both have enjoyed all aspects, especially the giant bubbles, chemistry demonstration (mad scientist-style), make-believe recycling center, Smart Car, science lab and market. It's nice to... More
