This museum is fasinating to people who love history and planes. They exhibit the aircraft very well. The tours are self guided. The ticket is well worth the price. We went one Sunday and they were taking the planes out and really flying them. It was amazing to see how they take care of those old beautiful machines. You can... More

Sadly, the museum suffered from the effects of Hurricane Ike, and some of the planes were damaged/destroyed. Thankfully, I was able to go there before that tragedy and experience the museum. I went back recently and although the inventory is less than it used to be, it was still worth the $10 admission fee for someone like me who appreciates... More

Be ready to spend plenty of time! A lot to see, would have loved to take flight in old plane! Flights full that day. Museum really well done. Numerous planes. Enjoyed looking at them all. Must see for children!

Had no idea this was here in Galveston but I love to visit flight museums all over the country. This one feels special for the number of warbirds on static display as well as ride-along planes available for that special treat. The B-25(my fav) had an engine being overhauled so I wasn't able to schedule a ride-along when I was... More

The museum houses so many warbirds, vehicles, and other items. I was amazed at it all. I was like a kid seeing a new toy. To know where the planes have been and gone thru...and to see them brought to life and maintained. I finally saw where their new location will be. I attended the airshow and saw the new... More

This was a great place to learn about nose art on the planes and about the planes themselves. In the gift shop is a replica of the USS Hornet (6-8 ft. long) and the B-25 bombers that raided Toyko. There is also some history and pictures of the damage caused by Hurricane Ike.
