Great attraction

Great place for a few bucks and an hour of time this is a neat spot. Self guided tour of restored aircraft, primarily of WWII vintage.

Really enjoyed seeing the planes and reading their history. The building is very nice, clean, well-lit, and air conditioned. I wish we could go into the B17! So neat to see them all.

Been here twice and loved both times. Very informational and educational. Not just planes. Have a few other pieces of history in the museum. They will be moving to Ellington field around August and they said the new museum was going to be bigger and much more educational. We cant wait to go back.

This is a rather small museum. There are some great aircraft on display though. Unfortunately you cannot get very close to them. There are ropes around them all. But nonetheless, its a good museum. Worth checking out. ,

Certainly not the biggest museum of its kind but it is very well maintained...everything is roped off and you can't get very close to the aircraft...been allowed much closer at other museums, even allowed inside in some but not here, at least not this visit.

This was a small stop for us on spring break. Great to see all the planes.. you can even take a ride on a plane. Mostly inside. Wheelchair accessible. Also a great place to take selfies. Bathroom are clean. Definitely some good information. This is a 20-30 minute stop.. more if your are going to take a plane ride ..... More

Definitely stop by here if you like to see historical planes. Very clean and a nice gift shop. They even have flight experiences but we didn't do one.

Our 5 year old and 3 year old boys loved going here. Didn't take but 30-45 minutes to see it all but they were happy. My wife and I enjoyed it as well.

If you have a passion for aviation, it would be hard press for you not to fall for the charm of the Lone Star Flight Museum. The planes have so much history and the engineering alone is mind boggling that we build such marvelous engines without a computer. TIP: you can ride these historic birds...for a fee.
