Every year I take a different friend to Moody Gardens' Festival of Lights during the Christmas holiday season. When you go on a Thursday night, they have a special offer that if you bring 1 non-perishable food item of your choice, you pay for 1 entry and a 2nd person gets in for free. Fun outing with friends or family.... More

Enjoyed a show, Cirque Joy Noel, and then a long walk amongst their Christmas lights display. Munchies and hot chocolate available along the way.

The ice sculpture garden was magnificent, well worth the time and expense. We also went on the river boat ride which was fun. The Festival of Lights was nice but not very exciting, basically a bunch of Christmas decorations, and fairy tale themed lights. More or less for children. Food was good. The ice skating rink looked fun.

I spent the night at Moody Gardens hotel one November and the hotel is VERY nice. They have lovely rose gardens but I would suggest going in the spring when it's not too hot and flowers are blooming. The pyramids are nice to go through although I was disappointed in the butterfly one because I saw several dead butterflies in... More

Moody Gardens is a very popular tourist attraction in Galveston that offers many interests of all ages. The pyramids feature a botanical garden, IMAX theatre and others features. Also on site is a huge Schlitterbahn waterpark and hotel

So we went to the Festival of Lights and all the events as we had purchased a full pass . The Festival of Lights was pretty but needs a trolley to take people around . It's a long walk with , children or the elderly. Iceland AWESOME!! Ice skating was disgusting. When we rented skates they were not sprayed prior... More

It was good overall the only thing I don't like is the price I don't know if it's worth the money but every thing is amazing and we all. Loved every second of the day!!!

It took us an hour to walk through. The aquarium in Dallas is half the price and has way more wild life. This was very disappointing.

The gardens were a haven while adrift in Galveston. It closed at 6 pm but treated us well. Few people in off-season January but some attractions were open. Recommended.

We just arrived & if my first experience is any indication of the weekend ahead, this is going to be a wonderful weekend. We were met by Valet Serviceman Charles. He was professional, courteous, informative, warm & friendly. Charles was in point! I discovered that I left my cell phone in the car - out for all to see &... More
