I am sure I have salt water in my veins, and being here was the most relaxing, calming place I was at during our 3 week vacation. I can't wait to go back!

Seemed like we walked for miles trying to see everything. Really liked the “Pay by phone” option for parking!

If we could only have a beach like this in Iowa ... it would be heaven! Collecting shells on the beach should be a full time job for me.

Beautiful views of the Gulf with awesome stretches of beach. The pleasure pier is fun and lots of great places to eat along the Seawall.

I couldn't get over how clean the beach was especially after Hurricane Harvey. Very safe beach too. Lots of great restaurants along the Seawall. Our favorite is Miller's Cafe. Outstanding seafood!!!

Rent a bike, Segway or rollerblades and enjoy the view. The people watching is fantastic and there are a lot of great restaurants and bars. The Pleasure Pier is a good stopping place as is Murdocks.

I wanted to take my dog on a trip because he is getting older and has never seen the beach. While that sounds silly, I took him here and he loved it. Thanks!

Yes it is a good beach for families. With a very gradual decline, most of the time the water is shallow a good distance from the beach. Yes you can bring your own umbrellas and chairs.
