Have done some walking as I'm staying in the Historic East End. Been through Sacred Heart Church, Bishop's Palace, the Moody Mansion and seeing many beautifully restored older homes.

Come spend a few hours walking or biking or taking a Segway guided tour or carriage ride past stately Victorian era houses. In May there is a homes tour where private residences are open to the public. It is truly a living museum of sorts!

This is a place that you need to visit when you're in Galveston. A historical area with the victorian style houses. Some of them are not well kept but most of them are still beautiful.

We drive around the historical area. The craftsmanship building the old homes is unbelievable. It is worth taking the time to drive around slowly and enjoy the history.
