Have been to this park five times, stayed in cabins, bunkhouse and even off site at a hotel. We prefer to stay on site, as it makes it so much easier for meals and such. Cabins are perfect, as they have bathrooms and showers. Bunkhouses are next best thing and community bathrooms showers are close by. Trails are great, from... More

BMRA is a great place for 4x4 adventure. It has trails for every skill level. There are camping spots throughout the park. Electric hook ups and new pull throughs for the bigger rigs. It's family friendly and adventure filled!

Good trails when they aren't muddy. Signage is horrible, some missing. Trail ratings need to be updated on some of the trails. Other than that it's a fun place to spend the weekend. If you're camping be prepared to deal with annoying people blasting their stereos on their side by sides until midnight or after. Wouldn't say it family friendly,... More

First time out to Barnwell and we had a relaxing weekend hitting the trails in our JK. Plenty of trails for all levels. Trials were marked well and there were enough signs and arrows to keep you on the right path. We stayed in a bunkhouse which was convenient, though town is a short trip down the road. The bunkhouse... More

This place is great for off road adventure no matter what your choice of transportation is from motorcycles to 4x4. We had a blast in our Jeep Wrangler. Awesome trails well marked. Good for beginners or experienced. All the family got involved from driving to navigation or even taking pics or video (none do it justice for what you actually... More

We took our stock TJ to Barnwell to do some wheelin. We went with a group of four other Jeeps. I was impressed with how well the trips were marked. We stuck to 2 level trails with the occasion 3. We had a great day with only one mishap (we broke the step). They had clean portable bathrooms all throughout... More

Had a great time at this off road park. The trails are really well marked and there are trails for people of all skill levels. The park is really pretty and quiet. We stayed in one of the little cabins and it was great! They were really clean and so close to the bathrooms. The bathrooms and showers were better... More

I recently spent 4 days at BMRA for the 2014 SCARR event where Land Rover owners from all over the country come to test their vehicles and off road driving skills. I checked in at the front office and got a map as well as my event bag of goodies and headed out to Camp Maybey to set up my... More

The worst management I have ever delt with. The woman manager walked up to our cabin already on a bad mood and immediately started harassing us. She called me a b**** and treated us like thieves. We arrived at 10:30 pm, the employee on duty only got our name and number and told us to pay in the morning, so... More

Even if I wasn't going for the great off-road trails, I'd enjoy camping at BMRA because of the beautiful mountain views & relaxing atmosphere. The office staff is always helpful. The bathrooms are very clean (recently remodeled). There are soda machines, a hose for rinsing off your rig and 2 high power air compressors for airing up before you leave.... More
