This is a fun park. Lots of rocks to sit and play on. The water was low which made the rocks slippery. Water shoes are a must.

The kids (and even hubby) loved climbing up on the rocks and exploring. My oldest loved swimming in the river (a bit dirty/smelly - what do you expect - it's a river!) We'll definitely go back here, it's easy to spend 2-3 hours here. The...More

Free park for exploring, wading, etc. Would be nice if there were a bit more signage, I suspect there was but we just didn't know where to find the signage, some historical info would be great. Kids had fun, water was a nice break.

Need good shoes for walking on the big rocks and the trail leading to the river. I would not go into the water. There is a warning sign of amoebas. You don't have to ingest them for them to get in your brain.

Be prepared to see lots of trash scattered on ground. Sand flies to eat you up alive. No shady areas to sit at, just lots of sand.
