You do not have to travel very far to really enjoy a clean and beautiful beach setting. we have had many beautiful evenings with our family watching the boats go by and the sunset across the beach.

Just a wonderful little man made beach. Sand is winderful, lake seems pretty clean for a lake. Parking by Hilton or by the apartments. Free!! Several pavillions with tables, but they fill up fast, so bring a blanket and an ice chest and stay for a while. There is a bathroom too.

This little gem is worth the trip to Granbury. Stayed at the hotel next door and walked right over. Let the little kids enjoy the sand and the water. Just like going to the beach for them. Going again tomorrow!

A truly delightful beach with real sand and water! Covered tables and chairs protect from the hot Texas sun! Wonderful place to take children to swim in the large shallow lake area and play in the sand. It is next to the Hilton Garden Inn which has a very long walking bridge that runs the width of the beach.

Spent a few hours with my family building sand castles and swimming in the lake. This certainly is a nice place to visit if you're in the DFW area.

For a man made beach it was fun. It is somewhat small but what can you ask for in the middle of town.

Untidy is the nicest word I could think of to describe this beach. But a lot of other more negative ones first came to mind. People just do not clean up after themselves at this beach, choosing rather to let the trash fly. Also, there is a lot of animal droppings along the beach.

Enjoyed the sandy beach. However disappointed I could not take my 10 Lb Doxie. The beach is free. For a price they offer kayak rentals. Cabanas also available. Had a good time.

This is a tiny sandy beach created and owned by the city of Granbury. The lake water was warm and welcoming. I can see, though, that the beach will easily fill up. There are showers and a restroom available as well as a splash park for younger visitors. There are some picnic pavillions. It was the end of summer so... More
