Always something fun to see and experience. Great music most nights.

Try the live music at Tolbert's. Farina's usually features a low key guitar player or small band AND great Italian food. Wilhoit's is too smokey!

After a visit to Vetro to make Christmas ornaments, we had the pleasure of walking around downtown Grapevine for 4+ hours. Om: Very short review here – if you enjoy Christmas & the holidays, you need to head to downtown Grapevine starting on “Black Friday” and going through December. There is no doubt why this is the “Christmas Capital” of... More

We visit this quaint little town once a year. The shops on main street are unique and the people are very friendly. We love the small town atmosphere and look forward to the trip each year.

Highly recommend a visit! There is something for everyone in downtown Grapevine. Very unique shopping, wonderful restaurants, and a great town hall and museum to visit. Add the wineries in and you can easily spend a whole day here. Especially fun at Christmas time. There is a Polar Express train ride for kids, music playing, an old time movie theater,... More

When we knew we were going to be staying in the area, I did some research into Grapevine, and a lot centered on the many wineries that have tasting rooms there. Actually the only wine grapes being grown anywhere near Grapevine are in a small area in a courtyard at the Gaylord Texan. All the winery tasting rooms that exist... More

If you find yourself in the Big D, Dallas, and want to get away, downtown Grapevine is a great place. It is especially done up great during Christmas time. Every now and then, I need myself some Tolbert's Chili.

We went for a walk along Main Street in Grapevine. The old style arquitechture, with many red brick buildings is really nice. There are a variety of stores, from souvenirs, antiques to decorations to food stuffs. We went into a Farmer´s Market store and were pleasantly surprised with a variety of pecans, tomatoes, hot and other sauces ... other veggies.... More

Most places tend to fall short of the hype (can you say Magnolia Market?). Historic Grapevine is actually pretty cool. Lots of shops, eateries, and things to see! We were at the Gaylord and thought we'd walk around a bit in Grapevine. Note- The shuttle from the Gaylord is a huge ripoff ($17.00 each) so find another way to get... More

Great downtown old town. Wine, food, shops... Fun place to go walking and boutique shopping for that funky western slanted clothing and stuff...

We had a very good experience there. We went during the week and it was not crowed. There are many theme stores. The attendant at Grapevine Convention & Visitor Bureau was so kind. She gave us all information. There is a nice museum behind this building for free.
