This was our first time in Grapevine, we had family show us around Grapevine. We had a wonderful day shopping and eating lunch in Grapevine. If we ever return to Texas, Grapevine will be on our agenda.

I moved to Grapevine from Chicago - which is a bit of a culture shock. But this area of Grapevine reminds me of the old neighborhoods in the city. There are lots of little shops and restaurants where you can support local business people. There are also multiple wineries for the adults. It's a great mix of history and local... More

The open air market in the historic area of old Grapevine Texas was a lot of fun. I read the complaint about one unethical jewelry seller and was sorry to hear about their experience. As fo my experience I was delighted with the items offered by other sellers... though jewelry is not in my shopping interest, lol. Yes it is... More

There's usually always something going on, from the farmer's markets to the regular festivals like Main Street Days or Grapefest. The shops are darling, most of the food up and down Main Street is really good, and there are lots of wine tasting rooms. The festivals are well run and a lot of fun.

It's not spectacular like Bishop Arts or McKinney Square, but it's really well done. Main Street is about eight blocks long running north and south. The northern end has a few historical buildings and some open space... More

There was a Farmer's Market when I visited over the Mother's Day weekend. They offer off-the-main-street parking and the entire area is walkable. Great little stores, restaurants, and seating areas. I would recommend this area for an entire afternoon.
