A good and relaxing stroll after sightseeing in the city of Houston. A really nice campus with so much green foliage and squirrels running around the campus. Close to the museums and Rice Village.

Beautiful campus with great architecture and oak trees that are over 100 years old. Love talking walks and attending sporting events there. Love Rice Stadium and Reckling Baseball field.

Lovely campus with great academic program. People were genuinely friendly and interested in answering our questions related to admissions, campus life and leadership development.

the campus is absolutely beautiful complete with lovely old trees and graceful buildings. I have regular business meetings and attend conferences here on a yearly basis. Parking however could be improved unless you are going to a conference center with under ground parking you could have a hike from the above ground parking lots.

We have lived in Houston for years and had never walked through the Rice University campus. I have been to the stadium several times. We had a friend in the hospital and was able to park at a friend's house and cut through Rice's campus to save on parking fees. The campus was beautiful, well groomed and the buildings were... More

Returning here for a class reunion 50 years after graduating, I was struck by how different it was. The oak trees planted in 1912 were still there, providing shade along the roads and pathways. The architecture mostly follows the model set by Lovett Hall and what is now the Physics building, but is decidedly modern on the inside. The library... More

I really enjoy walking several times inside the main campus. Also around the University there is a very scenic loop where the students run or walk. It is very grren, surrounded by typical historical houses and nice gardens all over.

I attended a conference on campus and was absolutely amazed at the gorgeous architecture and charming trees. Walking through campus felt like a storybook setting where the trees drape over all of the roads and create a canopy. Inside the buildings is also quite historic though, which was a little disappointing for a higher learning institution. The building that housed... More

A Rice education is something special. Although my daughter chose not to apply to Rice after our visit, it was clear to us both that students who attend Rice are receiving an above average academic experience. This place is amazing. It was an honor just to walk through the campus. The culture of the "house" is really cool, as opposed... More
