I went here early April after Harvey had hit the place. I heard it was flooded pretty badly. So they were rebuilding and replanting to be ready for the upcoming season. It's a great place to stroll around. Lots of different flowers. Several hiking trails....More

You can get a little bit out of the busy Houston life, and spend a very nice day in one small but very quiet place with many flowers with no entrance fee.

The gardens are being renovated after flooding during Harvey and the renovated portion is beautifully done. It is well worth the visit.

My wife and I had some pictures taken here back in the summer of 2017. It is a beautiful place. Harvey did some damage, but hopefully it will be returned to its beauty. As others have mentioned, you do have to watch out for snakes....More

There's good news and bad news here! The good news is the fabulous array of plants & trees & bamboo & flowers here will certainly inspire you. The bad news is you might start feeling bad about the comparison to your humble abode!
