Had a fun time SCUBA diving and camping. The lake is good for training and checking out dive gear. EASY shore access. We had perfect weather. The camp sites were great, lovely setting. Check this place out if you are looking for a place to camp, with close access to your car, relax and SCUBA dive, and be close to... More

Great place to dive for Houston. The water is relatively clear and the staff do a great job of keeping the place tidy. Definitely worth camping if you're going for the weekend. Not sure if I'd recommend it for non divers.

If you go to the Blue Lagoon and take a class make sure you ask for Brian Avenarius. This guy will not only give you the skills to become a great diver but give you a huge smile to go along with them. Just a fantastic instructor and a beautiful place to dive. Nate and Neisha are the Dive Masters,... More

Great staff who are eager to be helpful in any way they can. Dive gear and lessons are available so plan a family dive trip and spend the day.

Mom-in-law and I spent the day here yesterday as a fun girls day out, not really knowing what was to be expected. I have lived in Huntsville for about 20 years and have heard very little of Blue Lagoon. We decided to go see it and wow, were we surprised! The girls at the front desk were helpful and very... I really like the well kept park above and below the water. The students really like the PVC circles and squares to practice their buoyancy. we will definitely be back.

In all honesty, this place is not that great. The water is blue but nothing extraordinary. Apparently there are chemicals in the water that make it uninhabitable for animals and plants.... But somehow perfectly safe for humans? It turned my swimsuit pink (from white). In addition to that, two of my friends came out with Scabies. If you don't know... More

I recently visited The Blue Lagoon to get some SCUBA time in the water after several years off. The facility is easy to find, organized and run well. They have both air and EAN on site. There are no showers or changing areas only porta-potties so in that regard it's a little "rustic". There are quite a few areas that... More

This place is fantastic! The staff and owner are so friendly. I finally had a chance to get certified and picked this place to do it. They have a convenient set up, offering a 2 and a half day training period! They even offer overnight stays if you live too far to drive back and forth at no extra charge.... More

We waited 2hrs to get inside after waking up at 6am & driving an hour & a half away in the summer time in Texas! So you would imagine the epic disappointment that could happen after going through all of that! And I couldn't have been more satisfied and pleased with my visit! It's beautiful and private. And once you... More
