I visited The Bugle Boy this past weekend to hear Jackie Venson. Wow- what a place! Right off 71 close to down town La Grange about an hour from Austin. It's a former barracks that was moved and has been converted into a "listening room". The venue holds about 80 people. The seats are comfortable with drink holders- similar to... More

This facility will only sit about 80 people and has theatre seating for about 60. Really good acoustics and you get to be up close and personal with the entertainers.

We were thrilled with the Bugle Boy when we came to town to see Cliff Eberhardt and Louise Mosrie! The seats were comfy and the atmosphere just right for listening to singer songwriters! Beer and Wine were available, and the seats had cupholders that fit the wine glasses!

They have great music venues, small place, they need to expand the building and the selection of refreshments

This place isn't large but it's a real gem. They bring in some amazing people and the audience clearly maintains a "listening room" atmosphere. Not the place to go to throw back shots and whoop it up with your friends while there's someone in the background trying to sing. I made the trip down from Fort Worth and it was... More

When you think of entertainment in La Grange Texas, music is not the 1st thing that comes to mind( a long running off Broadway musical notwithstanding ). Away from the ultra hip Austin music scene sits a jewel of a venue that also has a fantastic purpose. These guys "get it" , music is about songwriting. Proceeds from booked events... More

This was our first trip to the Bugle Boy.. What a surprising find in the little town of LaGrange! The entertainment was top notch; the seating comfortable and the acoustics very nice. The entertainer even brought cake to share with the attendees for her Release Party. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to us newcomers! We will definitely go back... More

I have been living in La Grange for 11 years, the Bugle Boy is celebrating it's 10 year anniversary, and I regret to say that my first visit was last weekend, but I will say that I will return frequently! The Bugle Boy is a unique and wonderful venue for listening to live performers. It is a non-profit organizations that... More

This is the third time we have visited The Bugle Boy. On our first trip to La Grange, we found it by accident and the second time, we went specifically because we wanted to see a performer at The Bugle Boy. This third time, we were in the area and decided to drop in and had a fantastic musical extravaganza.... More
