I have been involved with this Art Museum for 30 years. This Museum has brought outstanding, popular art shows of nationally-known artists as well as wonderful local artists and art from school children. Also offers a great variety of art education for adults and children....More

Permanent collections are impressive and Museum leadership is skilled at scheduling temporary exhibits. Very good programs for children and adults. Occastional musical offerings, too. Well maintained. Enthusiastic supporters. Downtown location. Wish Museum could open one afternoon until 5 so school age kids have time to...More

The LMFA is a very nice venue. The George Roderique exhibition was featured. It was well done with much discourse from the volunteers and staff. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable.

Although enticed by the artist's Blue Dog paintings, I was excited to learn of George Rodrigue's artwork depicting his roots in the Cajun bayous of south Louisiana! Our city of Longview is blessed to have such a fine museum in our midst.
