We have been to Cap*Rock several times, and while its venue is excellent, their wines tend to be hit-or-miss. Not bad, but maybe they're paying for the nice building? A couple we tried were just OK. When we came in from Woodrow Rd. we wondered if it was even open. The zinfandel is worth the price, as is their roussane... More

I like the atmosphere although the quality of wine is not as great as some store bought still a nice experience. Would highly recommend a trip to ruidoso,NM they have some of the best wine in this region.

Even though Texas isn't know for great wines - we had a nice experience at CapRock Winery. They took his through a nice line up of wines and we found a few we liked well enough to purchase. It would be more interesting if the staff knew a little more about the wines they were pouring as I asked some... More

I finally got to CapRock Winery on Saturday May 21, 2016. The pleasant atmosphere and well furnished tasting room were fantastic. The wines produced here in East Texas are superb and speak well of the dedication to this business. The staff was exceptional and very knowledgeable on the wines and their heritage. This is a must see and taste for... More

Juniors Listening Room , a wonderful opportunity to spend a relaxing evening with friends and family and listening to some fine music. Ordering wine and cheese plate from the friendly staff was a breeze. Celeste gave me a couple of wines to choose from before making my final choice. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. Junior Vasquez greeted us, we... More

We were provided great service and great wine every time that we have visited this winery. The environment is clean, nicely designed, pleasing and suitable for nice entertaining such as weddings, celebrations, reunions. I would not hesitate to use it.

Although we've enjoyed their wine for years we had never visited the "mothership" so we were looking forward to our trip. The wine, especially the Toscano Rosso (Sangiovese) and the Roussanne, is excellent. The staff is very friendly and the facility is beautiful with pleasant ambiance. Our only complaint is that the staff is not very knowledgeable about the wine... More

This was a fine tasting experience in a lovely venue with very tasty wines. The hostess was friendly and efficient. We could have used a little more information on each wine, but still a worthwhile visit.

Went to the tasting and had a great time. Counter clerk very knowledgable on their wines and explained the background to each. A modest $5.00 for 5 tastes was very reasonable. We enjoyed all but bought a bottle of the Roussane white. Great brief afternoon diversion.
